Bianca, kampi kay Jinkee By: Ian F. Farinas KINUMPIRMA ni Bianca King sa last shooting day ng Wapakman, 2009 Metro Manila filmfest entry ni Manny Pacquiao, ang napabalitang dressing room incident sa pagitan nila ng co-star na si Krista Ranillo.
Gaya ng nasulat, sinabi ni Bianca na totoong binastos at pinaalis siya sa tent na dapat sana’y paghahatian nila ni Krista bilang dressing room.
Tatlo raw ang tents sa set: Isa sa kanya na sini-share niya sa bagets cast; isa kay Krista at isa kay Manny.
Lumipat siya sa tent ni Krista dahil masyado nang masikip sa tent niya at nagkataong pareho naman sila ng manager, si Arnold Vegafria.
Halos ayaw nang balikan pa ng dalaga ang insidente dahil baka akusahan na naman daw siyang sinasakyan ang pagiging controversial ng anak ni Mat Ranillo na nali-link kay Manny.
“Baka sabihin, umeeksena lang ako,” dagdag niya.
Ang pagkakamali raw ni Bianca, hindi niya nagawang i-confront ito nu’ng may nangyayari. Naloka raw kasi siya pagkakita sa mga gamit niyang nasa labas na.
Ang lady bodyguard daw ni Krista na binigay ng Solar Entertainment Corp. produ na si Wilson Tieng ang witness na ang tita ni Krista na si Suzette Ranillo ang nagpahakot sa mga gamit niya palabas ng tent.
Pinagharap daw ni Arnold ang dalawang alaga that day at dinenay ni Krista na may kinalaman siya o ang tita niya sa nangyari. Nag-sorry daw ito at nangakong pagsusorihin din si Suzette.
“It’s hard for me to deny or to accept na kayang gawin sa akin ’yon na parang I’m the wrong person siguro to discriminate against ’coz I have no intentions of harming Krista, and we’re from the same manager.
“I even have declined so many times to speak about the controversy and I still won’t ’coz I’m kind of protecting her also. So, maybe, there could have been a nicer way to let me know that they didn’t want me there if that was the case,” emote ni Bianca sa press.
Tinanggap man daw niya ang apology ni Krista, medyo masama pa rin ang loob niya.
“I’m not asking for public apology. I’m only talking about it because people are asking, because people saw it. What do I have to hide? I have nothing to hide. If you have nothing to hide, you face the press.
“I mean, lahat naman tayo magkakatrabaho tayo, we all know each other, we’re all friends. So, siyempre, ’pag may nangyayari sa akin, interested kayo, wala naman akong itinatago.”
Naniniwala ba siyang may itinatago si Krista kaya umiiwas ito sa press?
Ani Bianca, “I really don’t know. I’m not in a position anymore to speak on her behalf and that’s the truth.”
Inurirat din ang aktres tungkol sa “golddigging,” “homewrecker” tweet niya at ang sey ni Bianca, “You know, something like that is quite ambiguous, ha? I mean, si Tiger Woods ngayon sobrang, for me, ha, ’yun ang biggest headline now.
“I think my tweets are the least of the concerns right now. And kaya nga parang tweets, Facebook, parang sige, binura ko na lang just so ’di mag-create ng buzz. Ako naman, I do it to speak my mind.
“I think, honestly, wala akong karapatang magsalita about that (alleged Manny-Krista affair). I’m not in a position to talk about other people’s lives. My stand on it is kung ano man ang sinasabi ni Mrs. (Jinkee) Pacquiao sa press, pumapanig ako doon.
“That’s true. Because only she has the right to talk about it. And ’yung point ko ru’n na parang kung meron mang kailangang mag-sorry sa kahit kanino, hindi dahil nilabas ’yung gamit ko, dapat mag-sorry sa Pacquiao family, kasi sila ’yung nagulo, ’di ba? Sila ’yung affected. Hanga raw siya sa composure at poise ng misis ni Manny, kaya super Team Jinkee siya.
Hirit pa niya, “I believe that if there’s anyone who should be apologized to, it’s them.”
Kung siya ba si Krista, mag-a-apologize siya sa pamilya ni Pacman?
“I’ll rephrase your question a little, ha, to be not direct. Hypothetically, if I were being accused as being in that kind of situation and there was no truth to it, I would apologize to the family and to the wife for the misunderstanding.
“If there’s truth to it? I wouldn’t know. I would not even think about being in a position like that ’coz I’m against having a relationship with someone who’s committed. Not even just married, even in a committed relationship,” aniya.
Naniniwala ba si Bianca na kayang makipagrelasyon ni Krista sa isang may-asawa? “Hindi ko alam. Masyado na yata akong maraming sinabi.”
Nahirapan din siyang magbigay ng friendly advice kay Krista dahil para sa kanya, “Hindi ako galit kasi tinanggap ko ’yung sorry, but maybe, I have to get over it muna.
“Apart from like being insulted as an artist, medyo may ano siya, eh, may attack sa pagkatao nang konti ’yung ginawa.”

Marian paboritong haplus-haplusin ni Manny By: Noel Asiñas KITA namin ang saya sa set ng Show Me Da Manny last Tuesday night.
Tila walang kapaguran ang mga artista sa sitcom kahit late night na natapos ang taping. Nakita rin namin na mistulang brother-and- sister ang mga pangunahing bidang sina Marian Rivera at Manny Pacquiao off-ca-mera kapag nagkukulitan. Madalas haplus-haplusin ni Manny ang ulo ni Marian at hinahawak-hawakan ang bu-hok nito na kunwari naman ay ikinaiirita ni Marian.
Napapanood ang Show Me Da Manny every Sunday night pagkatapos ng Mel And Joey sa GMA-7.

Obviously, Bianca (who co-directs with Nani Naguit) is very liberal about whatever relationship they have as she agreed to direct Champ with a different leading lady, Heart Evangelista. "We want a dramatic video so we decided to get a professional actress," he says. "She listened first to 'Bahay Kubo' at nagka-goosebumps daw siya so she agreed to do it kahit na we just gave her a little honorarium. Game na game nga siya kasi we shot it in the forest of Norzagaray, Bulacan at ang daming bugs and it even rained, but she never complained kahit anong ipagawa sa kanya at inabot ng madaling araw ang shoot.”
“Kundiman” is their first album of all Tagalog originals. "The concept is Filipiniana," says guitarist Roll Martinez. "We called it 'Kundiman' as it fits our songs perfectly that express the state of mind of our culture and society today about life and love. Aside from 'Bahay Kubo,’ the other songs in it are 'Kalesa,’ 'Aso't Pusa,’ 'Ulap', 'Magkaibang Mundo', 'Bulalakaw,’ 'Yakap' and 'Harinawa,’ mostly written by Champ himself."
"We want to pay tribute to our country, our language,” says bassist Sheldon Gellada.
Hale has a new drummer, Pao Santiago. Is it true they dismissed their former drummer, Omni, as he's lacking in the looks department like the other members? "No," says Champ. "He wanted to pursue a different path and we had differences sa music so we had to let him go. When Pao came, he infused a new passion in our music. We felt like we're reborn as a new band and that's how we came up with an all Tagalog album."
"Kundiman" will be launched on August 14 at SM North Edsa's Sky Dome, 6 p.m. You can get the album there for only P299 with Hale posters and guitar picks, from PolyEast Records, in cooperation with Pony, Penshoppe and Sky Dome.

Bagong Darna, masusubukan na! MASUSUBUKAN na ang lakas ng bagong Darna simula Agosto 10 sa GMA 7. Pinalakpakan nang husto si Marian Rivera sa trade party ng Kapuso Network noong Biyernes nang gabi sa White Space sa Makati City. Iyon kasi ang unang paglabas ni Marian na naka-costume bilang superhero na si Darna. ***
