CHYNNA REPLACES IWA IN ‘ADIK SA ‘YO’
TWO new characters will be introduced next week in the GMA soap Adik Sa `Yo, Eugene Domingo and Chynna Ortaleza. A third male star is still on hold for the time being. Eugene ’s entry is really part of the original plan but it’s a different case for Chynna. She will be a replacement to Iwa Moto who will be taken out of the Jolina Magdangal-Marvin Agustin-Jennica Garcia-Dennis Trillo soap.
The reason is that GMA gave Iwa the Valentina character in the upcoming Marian Rivera version of Darna. She joins the cast of an all-female villains including Maggie Wilson as Babaeng Lawin, Isabel Oli as Babaeng Tuod, Ehra Madrigal as Babaeng Linta and Nadine Samonte as Babaeng Impakta; all original comics villains of Mars Ravelo’s heroine. Mark Anthony Fernandez stays as Marian’s leading man but not the other Mark, the Starstruck boy, Herras, who will be given another show with Jennylyn Mercado.
